I am kind of surprised when a work-at-home mom first told me she is a car lover. Her interest is really different from most of the work-at-home moms I know. Perhaps I should say that she has a unique interest.

She loves telling me the history of Mustang, the models of Mustang and the types of Bullet wheels. She will even go into details telling me about some third-party modifications if I accidentally touch on car topics.

“One of the most notable modifications is the Shelby Mustangs courtesy of the automobile racing company Carroll Shelby. The Shelby 2006 GT-H was a tribute to the GT350-H model of 1996. The more famous Shelby model was the Shelby GT500KR, the King of the Road muscle car …” Trust me, she will only go on telling me if I don’t stop her.

I only remember that Mustangs pop up frequently in Bond films. Some early models had been featured in both Goldfinger and Thunderball before. That’s all I know and can remember.

Perhaps it’s because I don’t drive. That’s why my interest is not on cars, but on cheap bargains for baby gifts, toys and games.

Like some blogger moms, I love buying and storing beautiful educational toys from Kobold Toys! as gifts for boys and girls.

I don’t buy gifts when I need them. This makes shopping for gifts a hurry. I am a work-at-home mom who is always busy with my kids, husband, home cleaning chores, Lasik reviews, niche blogs and lots more.

Normally I buy the gifts on sales and then store them in my store room.

I came across this Melissa and Doug Deluxe Standing Easel after buying a flash drive at a shopping mall.

My nieces have been playing with the easel daily especially the chalkboard. They play with this easel more than any other toy they own.

I love the adjustable size, durability and ease of use. Assembling is a breeze.

The eraser of the Melissa and Doug Deluxe Standing Easel is most definitely made of very good material.

I can’t get over the quality of the chalks, it really has surpassed my expectations on quality even the colors are nice. The chalks are not as messy as I thought they would be and seem to last long too!

While checking out some Miracleburn reviews, my niece called up and begged me to help her find the High School Musical Dolls of Gabriella and Troy.

I remember I gave her the High School Musical Dolls as her birthday gift last year.

To be honest, with the increasing gas prices and inflation these days, I have to cut down on buying gifts for my niece and nephews. I think most working mamas will agree that life is getting tougher and tougher due to the increase in gas prices, foods, utilities and many more.

Money earned should be utilized wisely on daily necessities. In other words, dolls can be replaced with something more inexpensive, durable and educational. Or get them when there are at cheap deals or cheap bargains.

I use this mini trampoline for cardio exercise when the outside temperature, or my knees, tell me not to run.

This is my second cheap bargain of mini trampoline. The first one used springs instead of the elastic bands. The spring design sucked. When I discovered the design was changed to incorporate bands, replacing the springs, I happily placed my order online.

I have put many many hours on this new “band” unit and so far no problems. Its easy to store under a bed, just unscrew the legs. It’s more durable than I thought.

I have a 1 year old nephew who loves it when I make puppets talk to him.

I had a hard time finding puppet in the local stores, so I decided to turn to the internet. I used to have some Sesame Street puppets when I was a kid and thought that they were great toys. So I figured this would be a perfect puppet to use with my nephew.

He absolutely adores Elmo. We recently had to get his shots done at the docs office. So I thought it would be a good thing if Elmo went with us. It was great that Elmo really helped out with the visit!
